HYPNAGOLOGICAL NARRATION

As we might think, there is no slowdown of the mental process in any way whatsoever in the Hypnagogic State, but rather an active and logical relaxation of the discourse that the instructor gradually narrates, expanding the attention as objects are amplified. The acceleration of mental discourse causes each ítem of thought to lose precision, transforming the logical-rational narration into a Hypnagological Narration, i.e. an iconic narration. There is a decrease of activity in the logical-conscious hemisphere which is proportional to the decrease in the level of awareness. Normally, iconic images are identical to the contents of thought. However, instead of taking place by means of linguistic symbols, i.e. words as support of abstract concepts, which disappear in the field of awareness, they are replaced by their corresponding concrete objects.
