THE HYPNAGOLOGICAL METHOD
1. Introductory Portrayal
According to the hypothesis by
Sapir-Whorf,[1]
the language that we use rules our conception of the world. According to the
hypothesis we present in the Hypnagological Method, as a consequence of the
former, learning more languages nourishes our conception of the world by
multiplying it. Therefore, our intention is to accelerate the process by means
of which such enrichment is attained. This has necessarily led us to leave
aside the existing closed systems on language learning in order to approach the
subject scientifically, where it is considered that the Hypnagological Method
is the result – or, if one prefers, the development – of other attempts of
acceleration such as Audio-Lingualism, the Cognitive Code or, further on,
within the Humanist/Affective Model, (in which the Hypnagological Method
belongs) Suggestology. Given that Hypnagology is a scientific method and that
it is in constant progress, we may consider its concepts and practice as the logical
consequence of the previous efforts.

MÉTODO HIPNAGOLÓGICO
1. Planteamientos introductorios.
De acuerdo con la hipótesis Sapir-Whorf,[1]
el lenguaje que usamos rige nuestra concepción del mundo. De acuerdo con la
hipótesis que presentamos en el Método Hipnagológico, como consecuencia de la
primera, el aprender más lenguas enriquece nuestra concepción del mundo,
multiplicándola. Por lo cual, lo que intentamos es acelerar el proceso por
medio del que se logra tal enriquecimiento. Eso nos ha llevado forzosamente a
dejar de lado los sistemas cerrados existentes sobre aprendizaje lingüístico
para abordar el tema de una forma científica en la que se considera el Método
Hipnagológico como resultado, o si se quiere, el desarrollo, de otras
tentativas de aceleración como pudieran ser, por ejemplo, el Audiolingualismo o
la Codificación Cognitiva, y más tardíamente, dentro del modelo
Humanista/Afectivo, al cual pertenece a este tenor el propio Método
Hipnagológico, la Sugestología. Podemos considerar la conceptualización y
práctica de la Hipnagología, como método científico que es y que se encuentra
en constante progreso, como una consecuencia lógica de esfuerzos anteriores.
